Swedish Massage - Traditionally performed as a full body relaxation massage that incorporates long flowing strokes, kneading and friction techniques. It is excellent for improving circulation, increasing range of motion and relieving muscle tension.

Therapeutic Massage - A full body massage blending practitioner-specific modalities, deep tissue work, passive stretching, acupressure and firm Swedish techniques.

Deep Tissue - The intent of deep tissue is to release specific muscles or muscle groups from chronic holding patterns resulting from injury or fatigue.When chronic tension is released, muscles return to their aligned position, and bones fall to the correct posture. Deep tissue massage works specific areas and is not intended for a full body massage.This work can be intense and may cause some soreness afterwards which can be soothed by using ice packs.

Massage Enhancements
Personalize your experience by adding a therapeutic treatment to enhance the benefits of your massage.  Enhancements can be added to any personalized massage.  Not recommended for maternity massage.

Herbal Mud Back Treatment
Begin with a stimulating dry brush exfoliation followed by an herbal mud masque.  A heated back wrap is layered over the masque to provide deeply relaxing warmth to the muscles.  Once the mud is removed with warm towels, the back, neck, and shoulders can receive a more beneficial massage through softened muscles and increased circulation.

This advanced treatment uses a potent blend of East Asian herbal formulas from Jadience to relax sore and tight muscles, alleviate symptoms of pain, aid in the relief of swelling and inflammation and strengthen muscles and joints.
